Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas

It’s not often that you find a from-scratch recipe that’s easier than the pre-packaged version. But after trying these Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas from  Life Made Sweeter , you’ll never have a reason to buy the packaged seasoning again. These fajitas have an authentic, delicious flavour, despite being a lazier cooking method. Try them out and you’ll see what I mean!

 

To make, you’ll briefly marinate chicken with oil, lime juice, and seasonings. Meanwhile, you’ll assemble the veggies on the pan with oil and seasoning before adding the marinated chicken. The mixture will bake for about 20 minutes and you’ve got yourself the easiest-ever from-scratch chicken fajitas. 

 

Note: serve as a fajita bowl with rice, salsa and avocado slices or in lettuce wraps for an allergen-free option. 

 

What you’ll need:

 

  • 2 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, optional

  • 2 medium chicken breast

  • 4 medium bell peppers

  • 1 medium red onion

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp lime juice

  • fresh cilantro, optional

  • avocado, optional for serving

  • tortillas

 

Makes 4 servings

Ready in 40 minutes
