Pasta with Turkey and Broccoli

This Pasta with Turkey and Broccoli recipe from Real Simple  relies on pantry and fridge staples for a balanced meal in no time.

I love that it has a turkey as a protein source, and broccoli to keep things balanced.

Balance tip: add additional broccoli, aim for ~1 cup per serving

Cooking the broccoli in the pasta water is a great trick for adding veggies to your pasta dinner to keep things balanced. Be sure to add this one to your meal plan this week!

What you’ll need:

  • 3/4 lb orecchiette

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 tsp fennel

  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

  • salt, to taste

  • parmesan cheese, for serving

Makes 4 servings 

Ready in 40 minutes
