I’m all about hacks that speed up my weeknight meal prep. The protein portion of each meal usually takes the longest to cook, so speedy protein sources are a must in my kitchen. Frozen shrimp is a great weeknight protein option that pairs well with so many meals. They thaw quickly in cold water if you haven’t planned ahead, and they take only a few minutes to cook.

Shrimp is also a versatile protein option that you can add to many of your favourite weeknight recipes, or use as a side dish with some complex carbohydrates and veggies.
