Try these Easy sautéed Garlic Shrimp when you need a quick protein source for your meal. Flavourful and using only four ingredients, these shrimp are sure to be a staple in your routine.
~20 frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined (31-40 size)
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper, to taste
- Thaw frozen shrimp and blot excess liquid with paper towel.
- Heat olive oil in a medium pan. Add shrimp and Italian seasoning, and cook shrimp for ~2 minutes per side, or until pink and fully cooked.
- In the last minute of cooking, add minced garlic to the pan.
- Add the lemon juice just before removing the pan from the heat.
Serve with your favourite recipe or as a side dish with a source of complex carbohydrates and veggies for a balanced meal.
